Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky was told to leave the White House early and without signing a minerals deal with the United States after he clashed with US President Trump and Vice-President JD Vance in front of the world's media inside the Oval Office.

During the extraordinary spat, a clearly angry Donald Trump told Zelensky he needed to be "thankful" to the United States and accused him of "gambling with World War Three".
