In Iran, the Government denies the existence of homosexuality. Being Gay there can be punishable by death. But the State does offer a solution - a sex change operation paid for by the Government. The pressure on Gay Iranians to agree to a sex change as a 'cure' for their homosexuality can be overwhelming.
