Paul Carter heads to New York to look at advancements in "Speech Synthesis" - where AI reproduces someone's voice - and focuses on people who are banking their voices so when they eventually lose them they can continue to talk, albeit artificially. Back at MIT, Spencer checks out the latest projects such as online harassment tools, seeing through walls with wifi, digestible sensors and tiny robotics.
In time for Wimbledon, Jen Copestake looks at how AI is set to transform the tournament. Lara Lewington looks at new art using Virtual Reality. And finally to close the show, Spencer visits a Boston-based robot restaurant.
