Chat, music and fun: the perfect soundtrack to your Sunday lunch.
I was born in Norfolk (in the former Angel pub in Long Stratton) and moved to Suffolk aged five before going to school in Tunstall, Butley and Deben High in Felixstowe.
I've lived here ever since, apart from a decade in London and six years in Moscow.
I trained as a print journalist with stints on the Ipswich Evening Star and East Anglian Daily Times.
l was a freelance reporter in Russia where I covered everything from the Mafia to serial killers (even interviewing one in his cell!).
I've also written four novels - Slaphead, Fleeced, White Meat & Traffic Lights and Milking It.
The first one won the WH Smith prize for Best Debut Novel, but copies of these classics can still be found in the 'remainders' sections of well-known book shops!
I started at 大象传媒 Radio Suffolk after winning the gig as a film reviewer on Rachel Sloane's afternoon show. After several years of training for my own show, I have almost got the hang of all the buttons.
Walking in the beautiful Suffolk countryside is one of my favourite things to do, as long as it ends with a pint of Aspalls.
You can also see me cycling around the county and walking along Felixstowe prom most mornings.
