The brief Galapagos spring was a busy time for the crew with lots to film simultaneously on several islands. It meant darting around the archipelago to catch land iguanas feasting on Plaza island's short-lived portulaca blooms while at the same time covering the carpenter bees and flower timelapses on islands such as Santa Cruz or Espanola.
