Fish and fruit

Wet season in the Amazonian flooded forest prompts trees to set fruit. The fruits fall into the water, so some trees use fish to disperse their seeds. Fish such as Brycon eat the fruit, but the seeds pass unharmed through their gut. Montage of fish grabbing fruit and a little green heron catching the fish. But unlike other fruit-eating fish, the tambaqui fish eat the seeds too - they crunch them up with their powerful jaws, and can even deal with hard seeds like the supacaio fruit.
