The maned wolf is the largest predator on the Cerrado grasslands of Brazil. But its prey are small, because it mainly eats mice. The maned wolf tries to panic a mouse into running by jumping up and thumping its front feet on the ground. A montage of hunting behaviour - slow motion footage of maned wolves leaping and chasing mice through the grass. One succeeds and eats a mouse.
