Three years after the roll out of Windows Vista, Microsoft has come up with an upgrade that they hope will fare much better. Digital Planet investigates whether Windows 7 is an improvement on its predecessor.
New York is exploring how it might look and feel in the future if it absorbed all of the smart technologies available, to turn it into the ultimate smart city. Laura Sheeter investigates an exhibition which is flagging up this new collaboration between artists, engineers and architects.
M novels, where readers can peruse stories written for the mobile phone, have proved a big success in Japan. Now the Shuttleworth Foundation in Cape Town has created a raft of stories for South African teenagers to read on their mobile phone. Steve Vosloo talks to Digital Planet about luring readers to their phones.
