It's a very special One Planet this week. On the eve of THAT summit in Copenhagen, Mike and the team travel to the Eden Project in South West England to hold a debate about climate change. A debate with professors, scientists, environmentalists and, well, plenty of other people with just as much to say about the subject.

Mike is joined on a stage in Eden's vast Mediterranean Dome by four prominent speakers on the topic of climate change. Just as important, there's also a live audience to voice opinions and objections. Plus guests in China, America and Zambia join in the debate - there's a whole range of time zones represented!

Yvo De Boer kicks off the discussion. He's the man charged with successfully negotiating a deal at Copenhagen - and he remains optimistic that the summit will merit a "full blown chapter" in the history books. He dismissed talk that any deal will be watered down to such an extent that it would deserve nothing more than a footnote in 21st Century history.

"I've never seen a moment in the past when climate change has been at the top of the agenda of every single world leader. I think it will be quite a bulky chapter."

Optimism from Mr De Boer - but what is the measure of success at Copenhagen? Come to think of it, do we want Copenhagen to succeed? Global population, boring conferences and dead squirrels - it's a varied debate.
