Japanese Internment
During WW2 the US government saw people of Japanese origin as a threat, and thousands were put into internment camps. Former Star Trek actor George Takei was a child at the time.
Former Star Trek actor, George Takei was a little boy when the US government decided that his Japanese family could pose a risk to the state. During WW2, he, and thousands of other people were interned in camps for years on end. He tells Witness his story.
