Churchill, Roosevelt and Stalin at Yalta

When Stalin, Roosevelt and Churchill met in Yalta in February 1945, they laid down the blueprint for post-war Europe. Hugh Lunghi was a translator at their meetings.

The conference held at Yalta, in February 1945 was to decide the shape of post-war Europe. It drew the borders of the future Cold War, which was to last for the next 40 years. Hugh Lunghi was an interpreter who translated Stalin's words for Roosevelt and Churchill.
