Struggling Pubs, Dog Fouling, Tandem Needed for EACH

Struggling pubs get funding for diversification, a coastal town is fed up with the amount of dog mess on its streets, Suffolk schools weighs in their waste, a tandem is needed for a Treehouse event.

With nearly 40 pubs closing each week, government funding has been given to rural pubs to help them diversify and lessen the risk of the trade falling victim to the recession.

Angry dog lovers say irresponsible owners are giving Felixstowe a bad name because of the amount of animal mess left on the seafront. A local dog training club has launched a campaign to try to encourage the good owners to clear up after the bad ones. Is that fair? Is dog fouling a problem in your area, why aren't fines against problem owners not working?

As the Waste Reduction Project in Suffolk comes to an end, one school finds out how successful they have been in reducing their waste.

A tandem is needed for a very special cycle ride in aid of the Treehouse Appeal. For someone who hasn't been on a bike for years, it could prove a step too far!
