Mobility scooters spell freedom and independence – but also cause accidents. Would you be happy to be assessed?

Listeners tell Jim how they rely on mobility scooters – and whether they’d be happy to have a test. And has anything extraordinary happened to you in an airport? Jim hears some very strange stories.

Sue has been using her mobility scooter for seven years now. She’d have been happy to have her fitness, and skill to drive it, tested … she also tells Jim how everyone was made very aware of her perfect three-point-turn when visiting a cathedral!
Alan’s wife was always too nervous to set out in her scooter – perhaps training would have helped?

Yesterday Jim was back in his big red ´óÏó´«Ã½ jacket on a bench in Donnington – catch up with the people he met on Friday morning.
