"You don't want to go out clubbing, you're a bit bored of dinner parties around people's houses and you want to just let your hair down and have a dance. I mean what's more fun than going out and dancing the night away?". That is a quote from Melissa Cole who talked to us this morning about her big party in a barn for the over 40s, somewhere in the Savernake area this weekend. She thinks adults should miss out on big parties, especially if your children have just left home and you have more free time to socialise.

How happy and confident were you when you were a teenager? Were you carefree or a bit self conscious? Despite their bravado many youngsters are often hindered by anxst and self doubt. We linked up with the Swindon charity which is helping to banish that and promote confidence. Inner Flame has organised a four day event at Braeside residential centre in Devizes to help a group of 14 to 19 year olds.
