It鈥檚 St George鈥檚 day on Friday. Proud to fly the red and white, or do you 鈥� do we 鈥� ignore England鈥檚 patron saint?
Sheila always celebrates St George鈥檚 Day in a rather loud way, John is pleased to see that celebrations are planned in Telford Town centre and Pauline has happy memories of Maypole dancing at school.
Some newspapers have said that England is 鈥渢he least patriotic country in Europe鈥�. Jim is surprised and asks whether listeners agree. Whilst a council worker has been told not to fly flags at work, many people have made very 鈥淓nglish鈥� plans for Friday 鈥� Morris dancing, archery and, as Charlie said, 鈥済o out and celebrate 鈥� we live in the greatest country in the whole world!鈥�
The dates for digital TV switchover in some parts of the county were announced today and Jim asks questions on your behalf of Peter Montieth from Digital UK.
