Friday Night At Ten. Join John Clayton and Sean McGinty to round off your week.
It芒聙聶s Friday night! It芒聙聶s Ten O芒聙聶clock! It芒聙聶s John, Sean and the Voice of Youth and it芒聙聶s FNAT!
For three hours every Friday night you get an awe-inspiring mix of rock 芒聙聵n芒聙聶 roll music spanning the ages, splashed with irreverent chat and a dash of odd news.
Don芒聙聶t miss out on this mystical experience, though if you do, there芒聙聶s always the iPlayer...
This week芒聙聶s FNAT-blast featured the following thoughts and fragments of wisdom. What FNAT facts did we find out about in the latest edition?
- Today's horoscopes:
Pisces: you can be sure that something fishy is going on.
Libra: you will get some useless advice.
Ikea: you need to pull yourself together.
- Jenny got an iPhone and a new SIM card. Sorry, Tommy Tutone - 8675-309 will only get you a Chinese takeaway.
- The people of Wisconsin have had their say and decided that Lactotus lactis - the "hard-working" bacterium used to make the region's beloved cheese - deserves to be honoured as the official state microbe. The bacteria's performance in televised political debates - packed with slick hand gestures and aided by an engaging stare and exclamations of "get real! I'm your microbe!" convinced even lactose intolerant doubters.
- In the grand final of the 芒聙聵Most Polite Organisation in Rock 芒聙聵n芒聙聶 Roll芒聙聶 competition, Las Vegas band Taking Dawn beat the Finnish Heavy Metal Concert Audience Collective by praising the UK芒聙聶s old buildings. The Scandinavian metalheads tried to burn the landmarks down and were constantly disqualified and told to sit in the dark of the naughty corner.
- Because cows' milk is actually chemicals and because teenage boys need both calcium and constant exposure to bare female chests, breast milk is the healthiest choice.
- Bruce Springsteen's Thunder Road inspired Ricky Gervais to make the film Cemetery Junction. He was going to develop a movie from Born to Run, but got tired and gave up as soon as he jogged past the 'thanks for visiting Reading' sign.
That芒聙聶s what they say, but what do we hear?
