While in Estonia, Joey wins the 600cc race on his friend, John Harris' bike and the next day the 750cc race. Only 15 minutes after his win, he is on the starting line for the 125cc race. Tragically he comes off the road on the first lap and dies at the scene. John Harris lays a wreath on site of the crash and accepts Joey's 750cc win.
