Youth games, undecided voters, umbilical cord blood

Suffolk youngsters are being called to train, voters in the County are still undecided which way they will go, umbilical cord blood is a life saving substance but litres of it are wasted each year.

Training begins for Suffolk Youth Games - Youngsters interested in taking part in this year's event are being called this week and both able-bodied and disabled competitors are invited to take part.

There's a suggestion that people will be making their mind up about who they vote for, on the way to the voting booth. We ask, "Are you still undecided which way you're going to vote tomorrow?" Does tactical voting make sense?

It is estimated that every year NHS hospitals throw away 65,000 litres of umbilical cord blood packed with potentially lifesaving stem cells. One Suffolk youngster is to be given an umbilical cord transplant and his Mum can explain how vital it will be.
