Joey prepares for the 1977 TT
Ever resourceful, Joey takes a Sealey frame for a 750 Suzuki and fits it to the 750 Yamaha engine – it looks ugly but proves to be a flying machine. In fact the bike is so fast that Joey is able to stop mid-race to check his tyre and still go on to win the race. Joey would later attribute his win to the help given him by top Irish TT rider Tom Heron.
