Oil Spill Fisherman
Vietnamese-American Thuong Nguyen has a tattoo on his arm saying "Life is difficult". He's one of many Louisiana fishermen left devastated by the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico - he was only just getting back on his feet after Hurricane Katrina struck in 2005. He talks to Outlook about his struggles in the past, and fears for the future.

Everest summitteer
22 year old Bonita Norris has just become the youngest British woman to reach the summit of Mount Everest. But until a year ago, she had never climbed a mountain. From base camp, she tells Matthew Bannister what it's like to stand on top of the world's highest mountain, and the difficulties she faced in her descent.
