Interview with Peter Owen Jones
In this video interview, vicar Peter Owen Jones explains why he decided to spend a year trying to live a simple life, citing the recession and our damaging obsession with consumption and acquisition.
He explains that he tried to follow the example of St Francis of Assisi, living simply and without money, and that he found that it is more human, more meaningful, and more open to the presence of God to live a life less obsessed with money.
