Author Rod Green asks where the real men are and it's 65 years since Thomas the Tank Engine was created. Two of Rev Awdry's children chat to Clare about the inspiration for Thomas.
Once upon a time men were men芒聙娄before there was an app for things or even GPS. Rod Green talks to Clare about the skills men may have learnt from their fathers or during a spell in the army. And it's 65 years since the first stories about Thomas the Thank engine and his friends were published. To mark the anniversary, a special collectors book is being published芒聙娄..Wilbert Awbry is the man who created the stories and two of his children join Clare to talk about the impact Thomas has had on their lives.
