Entebbe raid
When Palestinian and German hijackers flew an Air France plane to Entebbe airport in Uganda, they set the scene for a dramatic rescue attempt in July of 1976.
The standoff at Entebbe airport in Uganda in 1976 ended when Israeli special forces stormed the airport building to rescue over a hundred hostages from Palestinian and German hijackers. Alan Johnston reports.
