After the church's famous stained glass window is broken, Adam must try to find a way to raise the money for the repairs. His Archdeacon (Simon McBurney) grills him on how he plans to do this, but sneers at Adam's ideas. He tells Adam that this is an "inner city church with inner city problems". Adam must somehow find an "inner city" solution.
