Clare chats to Jill Allen-King about her new autobiography.
Jill lost one eye when she was just one year old and went completely blind in her twenties, tradically losing her sight on her own wedding day. Since then she's been campaigning to improve the lives of blind people in England and Europe. She currently chairs the European Blind Union Commission on Mobility and Transport, a position she has held for the past 13 years, and the National Federation of the Blind's Environment Committee.
She was awarded the MBE in 1983 and chats to Clare about her incredible life.
