Late night big band, jazz and irresistible sounds, and an extended tribute to George Gershwin.

A note from Paul...

This coming Saturday the Late Paul Barnes includes an extended feature on the music of George Gershwin, composer of Rhapsody in Blue and Porgy and Bess, plus classic popular tunes, such as S鈥檞onderful, They Can鈥檛 Take That Away from Me, I鈥檝e Got a Crush on You, Someone to Watch over Me, and dozens more. Think of films like An American in Paris, starring Gene Kelly, and the Fred Astaire movies such as Shall we Dance? and Damsel in Distress.

There鈥檚 a rich range of performers lined up for this week鈥檚 Gershwin-fest, from the 1930s to the present day, including Roy Fox and his band with Al Bowlly, Ella Fitzgerald, and a host of great jazzmen.

Swing from Saturday into Sunday with The Late Paul Barnes, from 11pm till 1am.
