HMP Huntercombe - The first adult prisoners arrive

Today adult prisoners are arriving at Huntercombe for the first time. After a drop in the number of younger people being imprisoned it's been de-commissioned and reopened as a Category C prison.

The young offenders institution housed 15 to 18-year-olds, but because of a drop in the number of younger people being imprisoned it's been de-commissioned as a young offenders institution and today opens as a Category C prison for adults instead.
