John has the latest on Tony Mowbray's appointment as Middlesbrough manager. He talks to former team-mate Alan Kernaghan, a former schoolmate, some Boro fans and a Scottish journalist.

Each day the editor of the Northern Echo Peter Barron challenges the 大象传媒 Tees team to come up with a better headline for one of their stories.

For Wednesday's challenge the Echo go with the story of Paul, the octopus from Germany which won international fame
during the World Cup by correctly predicting the winner of all Germany's matches. Well, sadly, he's died .....

Their headline: "They Think it's Paul Over..."

大象传媒 Tees went with "8 Feet Under".

Not surprisingly independent adjudicator Kerry thought that The Echo's was a better headline & awarded them the win - with two points for an iconic phrase too!

The score stands at - 3-2 to The Northern echo.
