Is the only reason people don't want to move our clocks onto European time old fashioned patriotism? There's increasing support for moving the clocks permanently forward - but do those opposed have justifiable practical reasons to be against it - or are they just reluctant to admit GMT is out of date?

Being half-term, the county's playgrounds will be busy - but not all of them are in great shape. James will be hearing about one that's just had a major revamp, and another five that are all destined for improvements.
