George's marvellous minibeasts
A collection of the weird, wonderful, unexpected and fascinating from the underworld of bugs and insects, selected by entomologist, George McGavin. By no means everyone's favourite animals, invertebrates hold a special place in George's heart and led him to an academic career at Oxford University. After working as scientific advisor on Attenborough's Life in the Undergrowth, he became a presenter in his own right. George is now loved and admired for his passionate engagement with creepy crawlies, whether in the jungles of Bhutan or the back gardens of One Show viewers. These clips represent some of his favourite moments and species.
