Benefits and the long-term unemployed
A dog attack leaves a man mentally and physically scarred, the cost of caring for someone is highlighted in our Living Longer series and Talking Books celebrates its 75th birthday.
Plans to force long-term benefit claimants to do community work are being defended by the government. More details will be set out as part of an overhaul of the welfare system, but critics say it'll mean people are punished - even when they genuinely can't find a job.
James will be looking at the issue of dangerous dogs and hearing from a Bury St. Edmunds man who's been left scarred after an attack earlier this year.
As we continue our Living Longer series on 大象传媒 Radio Suffolk, James will be hearing from and finding out about the real cost of caring.
And as Talking Books celebrate its 75th anniversary, James will be hearing from a Woodbridge man for whom they're a valuable lifeline.
