An Oxfordshire man who saved the lives of two people during the London Bombings is preparing to give evidence tomorrow at the 7/7 inquest.
7/7 Inquest - An Oxfordshire man who saved the lives of two people during the London Bombings is preparing to give evidence tomorrow at the 7:7 inquest. 52 people died attacks. Tim Coulson from Henley was at Edgeware Road when a bomb went off on July 7th 2005. He was awarded an MBE from the queen last year for his services.

Mercers Money - The Irish Republic has insisted it does not need assistance from the European Union amid speculation it is under pressure to use the EU bail-out fund. Reports suggest the Irish government may approach the European Financial Stability Fund (EFSF) for up to 拢68bn.
First on Everest - Oxford will host a rare gathering of elite climbers who have figured in the landmark ascents of Mount Everest over the last 50 years. Everest has been the stage for some of climbings greatest dramas and a testing ground for human spirit and endurance. Everest pioneers, including Doug Scott CBE, Peter Habeler, Tom Hornbein and 'Tut' Braithwaite will tell their stories at Oxford Town Hall on Tuesday November 16th.
Young Carers - This week we are highlighting the role of young carers in Oxfordshire. Based on the national census of 2001 it is estimated that there are over 11,000 young carers in Oxfordshire, but people working in the field here in the county say this is a gross underestimation. We'll follow the story of one young carer, 15 year old Callum.
