Scots-Irishmen such as Davy Crockett became legendary Indian fighters and storytellers. We hear some Scotch-Irish proverbs and phrases and follow the southerly migration of the Scots-Irish from Philadelphia to the Appalachian Mountains and westwards through the Cumberland Gap.
