The Donaghadee to Portpatrick Sea Crossing
Sam McAughtry explains how Donaghadee to Portpatrick was the main sea crossing between North East Ireland and Scotland during the 17th and 18th Centuries. He describes how construction of the harbour began in 1819 and how its business eventually gave way to Larne. (Broadcast: 27th April 1988)
