Invisibility Cloak
Professor John Pendry and his team of scientists have created the world's first invisibility cloak, which bends light waves around objects, making them 'disappear'. It works in the radar spectrum, 'cloaking' objects hidden inside a clever man-made material.
Invisibility cloaks have fascinated science fiction writers for decades and now it looks like the technology is within our grasp for the very first time.
