The Politics Show East - Fears that teenage pregnancies could rise
Funding for Teenage Pregnancy Units, set up by the Labour government in 1999, will not be continued by the Coalition. Across our region, councils are closing those units or scaling them down.
In addition, a bill to make sex and relationships education compulsory in schools has been dropped by the Coaltion.
The Girls Friendly Society, which runs a help group for teenage mums in Great Yarmouth, fears the twin changes could have a negative impact.
Leanne Thompson, who became pregnant at the age of 18, talks about her experience.
