Have the banks got away with it?
After the banking crisis, the bail-outs and subsequent government cuts, Stuart speaks to an economist from Keele University and an Economic Chaplain from North Staffordshire to see what they think.
Have the banks got away with it? Excessive lending, huge bonuses and a government bail-out to the tune of 拢850bn. How much of the money they've borrowed from the taxpayers will we see back? We can't live without them, so have banks got us over a barrel?
We'll be speaking to an economist from Keele University and an Economic Chaplain from North Staffordshire to hear what they think of the current situation.
Now that the figures are out, how will Staffordshire County Council deal with the cuts handed down to it by the government?
And how much good has regeneration done for North Staffordshire? Not as much as it might have done according to the policy research group Centre for Cities. We want to hear what you think about the regeneration of Stoke-on-Trent.
