Ipswich fire control to move to Cambridgeshire

Suffolk County Council votes to move the Ipswich fire control centre to Huntingdon - and the move could be permanent.

Britain has halted talks on a contract for helicopter search and rescue.

The Fire Brigades Union in Suffolk will continue to fight the decision to move Ipswich fire control centre to Cambridgeshire. Foz gets the thoughts of the FBU's Andy Vingoe and of Mark Sanderson, Suffolk's Assistant Chief Fire Officer.

The government has halted negotiations with Soteria, the preferred bidder to run the search and rescue service. Bury MP David Ruffley tells Foz what this means for the Wattisham helicopter.
