Joe gets reaction to news the government is scrapping plans for regional fire control centres - including one which would have covered Northants - from the local branch of the Fire Brigades Union.
The plans were first announced almost seven years ago and have cost 拢200m to date. Northamptonshire County Council has contributed 拢1m per year for each of those seven years.
It's now claimed more money will need to be spent on the existing fire control centre, which is in need of modernisation.
