Sexual abuse comments and closure of Wesham Hospital

There's continuing anger in the Pakistani community in Blackburn after local MP Jack Straw said some Pakistani men are targeting vulnerable young white girls for sexual abuse.

The Blackpool Teaching Hospitals Trust is making 55 people redundant and effectively closing the the Wesham rehabilitation hospital, as part of a savings review. The local health trust will move patients and services to Clifton Hospital at Lytham.

And there's continuing anger in the Pakistani community in Blackburn after local MP Jack Straw said some Pakistani men are targeting vulnerable young white girls for sexual abuse.

The chair of the Royal College of General Practitioners has urged the government to ban people from buying flu jabs from pharmacies, unless they're "at risk".
