Patrick Campbell-Lyons from Nirvana

Roger Day meets Patrick Campbell-Lyons from 1960s prog-rockers Nirvana to talk about their experimental sound, plus Alan Cackett is here with an hour of country music.

This evening Roger Day meets a man who made the first narrative concept album. Nirvana achieved critical acclaim in the 1960s and 1970s with their progressive rock sound and singer-songwriter Patrick Campbell-Lyons joins us live in the studio to chat about their pioneering albums and how they found a new audience thanks to the Seattle-based grunge band of the same name. Highway 61 Revisited by Bob Dylan is the Classic Album Of The Week, plus there's an hour of the best country music with Alan Cackett.
