Nine hundred jobs could go at Northamptonshire County Council
Northamptonshire County Council has announced further plans to save 拢68m this year. The proposals in the draft budget include closing 900 posts as well as completely cutting the 拢3.1m bus route subsidy, meaning many rural bus routs could be lost.
