A former 大象传媒 Three Counties Radio presenter and now Editor of Travellers Times has said the programme My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding has as much to do with travellers as Borat did to Kazakhstan.
Jake Bowers says Channel 4 should have labelled the programme a 'comedy'.
He says the producers have tarred all travellers with the same brush. On the phone-in JVS asks 'Are travellers treated badly?'
Former Social Security Secretary and Conservative MP for Hitchin and Harpenden Peter Lilley thinks more needs to be done to address problems with people manipulating the benefits system to get housing. JVS speaks to him and Dennis Parker from Aylesbury who believes his daughter is manipulating the benefits system by having babies to get a bigger house.
