Martin Taylor and Chet Atkins
A duet with jazz guitarist Martin Taylor and country guitarist Chet Atkins.
Martin Taylor and Chet Atkins both play a jazz guitar duet. As well as Martin Taylor and Chet Atkins together, there鈥檚 a real swinger from Fred Astaire who talks his way through a song but with great effect.It鈥檚 with Oscar Peterson鈥檚 and his celeste solo is really something else!
There are two from Annie Ross when she sang with some of the greats of American jazz while Billie Holiday gives a superb performance from her early days.
Jack Teagarden is featured as a member of the Adrian Rollini Orchestra and Johnny Griffin performs in Paris in the 80s with a classic Monk tune.
Roy Williams shows just how good a trombone player he is with a band led by Digby Fairweather and Edmond Hall plays the tune that made a hit in this country for the Chris Barber band in 1959.
