Radical treatment for depression
Kirsty Hemming meets the first UK patient to undergo a radical new treatment for depression. Surgeons at Frenchay hospital near Bristol are testing out a new technique involving electrodes implanted in the brain.
They hope that it will provide a modern alternative to the lobotomy.
