Author Neil Thompson tells Jo how aged just 11, he returned home from a camping trip to find that he had been abandoned by his parents. He tells Jo how he coped growing up, and what eventually led him here to Oxfordshire.

Today's Oxfordshire by Association takes us to Standlake to speak to Rodney Baker. Having left school at 15 Rodney took up various jobs including a window cleaning round and a milk round, which eventually inspired him to set up a very successful wholesale business.
