Jonathan Saville by Jo Paine
Animated by Jo Paine a graduate of Newport Animation School this is an extract from the autobiography of Jonathan Saville. Born near Bradford, his mother died when he was just three and he was eventually handed over to the local Work House. They turned him over to the man he describes in the clip. Who beat and abused him. He eventually had his leg broken by the man鈥檚 daughter and refused medical attention he became crippled. Sent back to the Work House he was taught to read and write and he grew up to be a local prayer leader and preacher of some small fame.
