Liz Bonnin and the wonders of the solar system
Liz Bonnin visits All Saints Church in Cheltenham, where local boy Gustav Holst used to play the organ. Inside the church Liz enters an inflatable planetarium where she meets astronomer Allan Chapman. He takes her on a tour of the solar system to find out what inspired Holsts' most famous work, The Planets.
At Painswick, Liz checks out the art installations which have transformed a classic rococo garden, before travelling to Cheltenham to investigate the musical legacy of Gustav Holst.
Liz ends her journey inside an inflatable planetarium, getting a unique view of the solar system which so inspired Holst.
