Creating words with 'magic thumbs'
Talkie Time: Rodd uses his 鈥榤agic thumbs鈥� to create words with different middle sounds. During the pause, the teacher could discuss with the children what other sounds can go in the middle of b and d to make new words. There are opportunities for them to practise saying the sounds and blending sounds together to make words.
