Pwllheli heron colony
Iolo Williams visits a nesting heron colony, beside a main road in Pwllheli North Wales. This nesting colony is at eye level, low down in the trees and the chicks have already hatched indicating the eggs were laid in February - very early for most birds. These herons are incredibly tame, so you can literally get a bird's eye view of them for 4 months of the year.
